Wild Card Cricut Cartridge Episode #7 - Invite Card

Here is another card with the Wild Card Cartridge, but this time I made an invitation. I have to say this card is the most versatile and happens to be my most favorite in the entire cartridge. You can make birthday invitations, baby shower invitations, wedding shower invitations and so on with this card. You are pretty much limitless with your creativity here, you can make it as simple or as complicated as you like and here I chose simple and quick but yet adorable.

The paper pack I used is from K & Company collection called Actopus to Zelephant and also used the coordinating stamp set for the inside frog. I was very fortunate to find this collection at Michaels and even more fortunate to get a big discount off the whole set.

If you are wondering about the slot punch I used, it is from Making Memories. This tool is well worth the money cause not only can you make a slot, you can punch ribbon setter. If you have any questions with this tool just send me an email and I can help you out the best that I can. Just a note, I purchased mine at Michaels and used my coupon.

  • Designed as an attachment for the Instant Setter
  • 4 different magnetic tipped slot options
  • Makes ribbon and paper weaving consistent and simple
  • No measuring or freehand cutting required

Well that's all for now crafters, join me again for another fun day of crafting.....

Wild Card Cricut Cartridge Episode #6 - Baby Carriage

Hi Bloggers, I have another fun and very quick card to share with you. Once again this was made with the Wild card Cartridge and it's the baby carriage.

I really liked the way this card turned out, I must say I love K & Company paper cause there designs are so pretty. When I create a particular card, I go through a major thought process. I can't throw pieces of paper together to make a card, I have to sit and design the layout, the paper, color scheme and the embellishments. To be very honest with you, sometimes it takes me up to two hours to make 1 card, this of course depends on the detail involved and trust me I get to detailed sometimes. Everyone has there own way of creating something, wether it is very complicated or very simple but the bottom line is it's not how you put it together, it's just simply putting something together. Anything hand made is very special because of the thought and effort that goes into it. Anyway, enough of me going on and on, I hope you will enjoy the 6th episode of the Wild Card Cartridge Series.
I do have more videos on the works, so look forward to the Invite card which will be coming up next and trust me you don't want to miss this one....

Happy Crafting bloggers.

Happy Birthday Pinar

Today we are celebrating my beautiful daughters 12th birthday. I can't believe how big she is getting, it just feels like yesterday I had her in the baby stroller going to the splash park.

Her birthday celebration will be at Toronto Raptors basketball game where the Raptors will be facing Utah Jazz. This particular game is extra special due to the two Turkish NBA players. Hidayet Turkoglu is playing for the Raptors and Mehmet Okur for Utah Jazz. Of course we are rooting for the home team to win. I think my husband is more excited then my daughter, you should have seen him last night, he prepared everyones Turkish jerseys to wear to the game and made me buy bristol paper to make a happy birthday sign to hold up while we are there. He was fortunate enough to get excellent seats, so we will be pretty much front row. I will be bringing my camera to take pictures so I can share them with you guys.

Sorry I haven't done a craft video lately but I promise I will do it soon....

Children Say the Darnest Things

As I was driving home from grocery shopping with my son sitting in the back seat and as we approach our home, he turns to me and say's "Mom, why are you only going to eat salad ?" I replied back by saying " well, mommy wants to lose some weight before we go to our trip this summer" then he comes back with " I love you FAT mommy, cause you are so cute" so there you have it my son loves me Fat. This would make a really cute excuse for me !!!

He is at an age where he asks questions like you wont believe, I have to actually stop and think for a few minutes before I reply back.

Well that's all for today, I thought you guys would enjoy a good laugh...

From My Kitchen Cricut Cartridge Home Project

Hi Bloggers, today I want to share with you a really cute home project that I was working on yesterday. Isn't is cute, and the best part is, it's so simple to make. All you need is your Cricut machine and From my Kitchen cartridge to create this.

For the longest time I had these to square frames hanging on my kitchen wall with a simple print in it and it never ever occurred to me to take it down and make my own creation. Well, yesterday was the day I said good-bye to the two old prints and said hello to my own work . It feels so nice to have something of your very own that you hand made to display in your home.

The paper I used is called Berry Street Farmers Market from DCWV and let me tell you this is one of the cutest Country Style Kitchen paper stacks ever. I have more fun projects in store for you all with this same paper cause it's just to darn cute.

If you need more details on measurement please email me and I will give you more detail. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting...

Wild Card Cricut Cartridge Episode #4 - Doily Card

As promised here is the 4th episode of the Wild Card Cartridge. There are so many different ways you can cut this particular card but this is just one way you can do it.

I really like the way this card turned out, particularly the stamp. It went very well with the design of the card. This would make a wonderful card for a friend who has been so overwhelmed with everything and need some pampering. You can enclose a spa, manicure or a peticure gift card as a small little gift.

I hope you will enjoy watching this video and come back to visit my blog again.
