I wanted to share this picture frame I made for my sons photo. I bought this really simple wooden picture frame at Michaels for $ 1.50 and turned it into my Scrap frame. You can create any theme and color combination based on the type of photo.
I used the K & Company Actopus to Zelephant Card Stock paper, Mod Podge to glue the paper down and some embellishments and bottons. If you have any questions I would love to hear from you.
I wanted to share this wonderful story about how I came to finding and buying an antique Singer sewing machine.
I have noticed for a while know that most ladies sew around there cards with a machine, and I happen to really like the effect it gives. I don't own a sewing machine nor do I know how to even use one but I was determined to find and learn how one worked. I was not interested in getting a brand new one needed something that was basic and in expensive so I went into kijiji to find a used sewing machine. Well, let me tell that where I found my lovely Singer. I bough it from a man named Henry and I would say he was in his late 60's if not maybe early 70's. He told me that this was his mothers sewing machine and I guess he had no use for it and wanted to get something for it. I went to see it and you know how people say it was love at first sight, yes that happened for me, it was love at first sight. It was kept in such wonderful condition, and it works wonderfully. I just have to learn how to use it. The best part is, I only paid 35.00 for it. I am very pleased and happy with it, know I have to learn how to use it :o)
Here is a 3"x3" note card box I made, which is not finished yet. This box holds mini note cards with envelopes. I learned how to make this from the splitcoast stampers website and let me tell you this website is absolutely unbelievable.
This is still an unfinished project cause I have to decorate the top and also make the mini note cards and the envelopes to go inside. So sat tuned for the finished result.

I am very excited to share some of my scrapbook recipe pages with you all. I had so many loose paper of recipes in between my favorite cookbook . I had some printed from the internet, some hand written from friends and family and some typed up. Basically my recipes were scattered all around in a mess and needed major organizing so I decided to put together 8 x 8 recipe book made up of all my scrap papers. This would be something that can pass onto my daughter and who know maybe even make its way to her daughter :o). This is just some of the pages I completed and let me tell you it is not even close to being finished. This is a project that will take some time so stay tuned for updates !!!
I hope you find it inspiring and have fun crafting...
My sweet daughter is graduating from grade 5 this year and she is so excited to start Junior high. I made this card for Pinar's Teacher as a thank you and a farewell. In addition to the card, I will make an acrylic post it note holder as a small gift. She was truly an inspiration to my daughter and will be missed tremendously but never forgotten. "Thank you Ms G."

Right know I am focusing on Fathers day cards and trying to go masculine as all my cards to date have been very girly girl.
