You're Super with TGF Stamp Set called Amazing Duo

Here is my most recent card I made last night for my sons friend at school. I don't know about all you moms out there but I have a little teaser at home who loves to get attention by teasing his friends. Well, his teasing got a little out of hand and he got a note from the teacher that he is being monitored.

After hearing all about what happened, my son and I decided to cheer up his friend and also do a little peace offering by making him this really cute super hero card.

He was stamped on Bellas bestest white paper and coloured with Copic Markers. I kept it simple and boyish with the colours and layout. Hope you find it inspiring.

Don't forget this weeks Bellarific challenge which is Flowers, so be sure to play along with the rest of the sistahs and submit your card to Emily by Thursday !!

Happy Happy - Edward from TGF

Hello bloggers, I am back with another card from the Greeting farm. I used Edward to make this birthday card for a boy who turned six. I used the scor-pal to make the embossing marks on the background of the base card.

The other day I was at Michael's and I picked up the Sizzix #3 flower die and let me tell you I have been making awesome flowers with this die cut. I will be doing a tutorial on youtube showing you how to make these paper flowers. Also I will be sharing with you my very first mini album. I am actually proud of myself because the album turned out very nice. It will be an awesome keepsake for my daughter when I am old. I know she will take care of it and appreciate it more then my son.

I will be back with more postings...

1 Free Hug Coupon - Redeemable at a moments notice

It's Monday again and the kids are going back to school tomorrow. I have a ton of stuff I need to get done before they go back and the weather here in Toronto has fallen like the stock market. The minute we hit September, mother natured turned on us. It's dark, cold and rainy, sure does bring down the moral big time and also causes major headaches.

Well, enough of me rambling on about the weather and my blah mood and lets check out my latest and greatest. Here is what I came up with for this weeks Rule of Three card challenge for the Greeting Farm. I used three different designer paper and also three different embellishments that consist of the flowers, the brads in the center of the flowers and finally the pin going down the large flower.

I hope you enjoyed todays card. Have a wonderful week Crafters!!!

Guess Who Won the Sketch Challenge ???

I woke up at 4:30 this morning and could not go back to sleep and decided to look at some of my favorite blogs and guess what I saw ? My card was chosen for his weeks FFF card sketch challenge. I feel so happy and honored that my work is enjoyed and liked enough to be a winner. It's very hard for me to express my emotions in words but really, the gratification is so overwhelming. Some people may look at this and say, what's the big deal, but to me it really does mean a lot. It's the sense of accomplishment no matter how big or small.

The winner of this weeks challenge was going to win the new stamp set called Sweet & Toxic as per the picture below. Isn't this set absolutely gorgeous, LOVE IT...

Sweet n Toxic

The Kids are going back to school on Tuesday and I am looking so forward to it. My son is starting grade one this year and will be in school the whole day meaning, mom (me) will have plenty of time to post some tutorials on youtube. I am so sorry it is taking me this long but if you are a mom I think you will understand that family comes first.

Farm Fresh Friday Sketch Challenge - I Love You

I thought the sketch on the Greeting Farm site would be really fun to do so I came up with this card. I absolutely love the " Darling Sisters" stamp set and I used one of the sisters to create my card. I am happy with the way it turned out cause the color palette really suits the image.

I used Copic markers to color her and the designer paper is from My minds Eye.

Second of all, I want to thank everyone who has been watching my videos on youtube and writing such wonderful comments. I cant believe I already have over 120 subscribers. I will continue with more videos. Like I mentioned in my last post, my next video will be a scrapbook page layout. Thanks for stopping by and happy crafting.

Rock the Farm

Howdy Crafters, and welcome to my Greeting Farms Ya' all. Todays cards are from the stamp set called "Rock the Farm". I had shown both of these cards on my Youtube channel but did not have a chance to post details about them.

This stamp set appealed to me in many ways. We go on fishing trips and farms every year with the kids, therefore I have a ton of photos where I can incorporate these stamps into my scrapbook page layouts. The color combinations are limitless and you can do so much with these stamps.

As you can see I am on a Greeting Farm Frenzy at the moment. I have pre-ordered Roll Call stamp set and I am waiting patiently for them to arrive so I can create some more eye candy to share with all you paper craft lovers...

Well, that's all I have for this Friday and I will update you on how the Scrapbook Garage sale went this Saturday.

Take care and have a wonderful weekend !!! YEEE HAAW

Time to Celebrate with Sassy Suzie Stamp from the Greeting Farm

Hi everyone and welcome back to another Greeting Farm card. I entered this one in this weeks card challenge over at the Splendidstamping blog. Well after I went ahead and entered her, I went back to the card and added more detail and it looks so much better. I did not take another photo of the actual finished card but this photo is the main layout anyways. All I added was rub-on stickers and a butterfly on it side. This card is for a dear friend of mine who is once again turning thirty nine :o)

Just a heads up on my next video, I will be doing a tutorial on how to color with prisma pencil crayons. I had a viewer request to show the techniques involved in coloring with the prisma's so thats coming up soon.

This Saturday my local scrapbook store is having a garage sale. How it works is, if you are a part of the cupcake club you can bring your tools, stamps papers and other crafting goodies you don't use anymore and drop it off at their store. They will host a garage sale with all the scrapbooking goodies and whatever gets sold is a store credit. I had about 12 items I wanted to sell off cause I was just not using them and some things I just got tired of using. I can't wait to sell them all so I can get my hands on some new goodies that I have my eyes on.

Well crafters, that is all the news I have for today so have a wonderful day !!!

Once again I colored the image with copic markers and added glitter to give it more detail and personality. My Frustrations are over, YEAH !!!! Part 1

Hi Bloggers, I have finally figured out a way to load my videos onto youtube. The original way no longer works so I had to figure out another way to load my videos. This process is going to take longer to do but it really doesn't matter as long as I can upload again. I am so sorry it took me this long to figure this out but it's better late then never right ???

I hope you find his weeks tutorial educational and fun cause I really enjoyed making it. In this video I am just showing you how I color with copic markers. Let me tell you I am not a certified copics user and I am always learning and practicing on my own to improve my coloring techniques. The Image I used to color on is a stamp from the Greeting Farm called Madelynn, she is absolutely a pleasure to color.

Comments are always welcome, just drop me a line and let me now if you are enjoying my videos or if you have any requests. I would love to make a video about a technique you may be interested in learning.

100 % Sweet

Hello bloggers, today I want to talk to you about my number one issue when making a card is choosing the right paper. When I make a card, it takes me forever to choose the paper design, color and texture. I want it to be a perfect paper selection with the stamp sets I use so sometimes I take hours to pick the right paper. Drop me a line and tell me what takes you a long time to do when creating a card or scrapbook page.

Here is a card I made using The Greeting Farm Stamp called Miss Anya Dressy. I wanted her to have a farm girl look to it so I used one of my favorite paper stacks called Berry Street Farmers Market. Doesn't she look 100% sweet (hehehe), the sentiment is from Michaels $ 1.50 bin and I think it suits her perfectly...

Today, I will be working on another card video so I will have that hopefully completed at the end of today. I have noticed that most bloggers are checking out the " Keep Calm and Eat a Cupcake" card so I will make another card with my cupcake stamp set.

Well bloggers that all have for you today...

Snuggle from Greeting Farm

Isn't she absolutely precious. I just got her and had to make a card right away so I decided to paper piece her nightgown and toy bunny. I colored her hair and skin with Copics and added a touch of glitter for more of a mystical effect.

I hope you like todays card and I will try to have another video up by this weekend.

Happy crafting all...
