Happy Birthday with Abby

A lot of birthdays are coming up in February so I have to fill up my stock, so here is one I made recently. She is called Abby and you can get her rubbah over at Stampingbella.  She was such a treat to color with all those balloons and cute dress.  As always, I used prisma pencil crayons to color my image and the designer paper I used was from Martha Stewart.

Have you peeps checked out the Bella Blog recently, if not you have got to go and take a look at the awesome new releases  made by our dear Emily. Also, if you place an order over $ 55.00 shipping is free. The images are gorguss and I have made my list of must haves so I suggest don't miss the free shipping offer cause I am sure you can fill up your shopping baskets.

Also just a note, there is no Bellariffic Friday this week and next weeks challenge is Valentines, so bring on the pinks and reds and hearts and bows. Lets make next week love-a-licious cause there is plenty of time to create and win some bella bucks.  Just email your image to Emily by Thursday 5:00pm Eastern time, and I cant wait to see all the Lovely Creations.

Cheers !!

A Note to You with Wasabi Ketto

Yes, it's that time again and another fun video tutorial. This weeks challenge was Free Form, meaning you construct your card any way you want and any bella image you want to use.  Well, with me this weeks challenge should of been easy right? no it was rather difficult. I don't know about you peeps but I lost my mojo this week.  Please let me know how you like this weeks card cause I spent the whole day thinking about how to put it together.

Once I have an idea of the paper and the image I want to use,  the next step is to come up with the most important element which is the layout.  This is the area where I ran into a brick wall.  Personally the stamp images of A note to you and Wasabi Ketto are so cute and versatile any layout would be perfect.  Another suggestion where you can use the stamp 'A note to you'  is a scrapbook page layout as the journaling block.

As always both my images were stamped on bellas bestest paper with Memento black Ink.  Instead of using my usual prisma colors, I opted for my copic markers to give it that extra umph. The paper pack collection is from My minds Eye called Fine and Dandy Tickled Pink.

I hope you will enjoy this weeks tutorial and find in informative.  I tried to incorporate some more techniques with Glossy accents and the Stamp-a-ma-jig.

Lastly, there will be no Bellariffic Friday next week Cause Emily will be in California for CHA. Also Em has announced on her blog that the New CHA will be live on January 25 so be sure to check back for what is coming !!!

You're Tea-riffic with Lattebella

It may seem like deja vu and yes it is. I have taken the lovely sketch from last weeks bellariffic challenge and made another card, but this time I using Lattebella.  Isn't she absolutely gorgeous, I don't know if I mentioned this before but she was the very first stamp I  purchased at Stampingbella and she is my favorite

I stamped my image on bellas bestest creme paper with Memento black ink and the paper I used was Basic Greys  6 x  6  Marjolane paper pad. I wanted to show all of you that you can use this paper for making a girl card as well.  Even though the colors are masculine dominate with just the right embellishments you can turn it into a very pretty feminine card.

I have paper pieced her pants and colored the rest of her with my prisma pencil crayons.

That all the news and card for today, keep warm and safe peeps !!!

Oh how I missed our bellariffic Friday challenges, did you ? well  I am happy to be back with an awesome  video tutorial of this weeks sketch which was designed by the very talented Kimabella.
The image I chose to use for the sketch was Bronte and Louis and I stamped him on bellas bestest  white paper.  The paper pack I used for the entire card is from Basic Greys Marjolaine 6 x 6 collection and I also used a combination of prisma and Caran D'ache pencil crayons to color my image.  You will find the full details of my card when you watch the Youtube video tutorial.

Next weeks challenge is easy pessy cause it's Free Form so anything your heart desires. You can dress it up, dress it down, bring on the bling and glitter or any embellishment you want.  Also it would be awesome to show Emily some lovin and shower her with cards on the next challenge cause she has been so busy preparing for CHA and seeing all those awesome creations will sure to bring a smile to her face.

Home is Where the Heart is

Hi blogger, I am back with quick post this morning of a current card I made using the stamp called Artsy House by Cristy Croll.  My image was colored with the Tombow markers once again and I used Memento Ink to stamp my image in heavy watercolor paper.

I really like the way this card turned out and I used the paper stack from DCWV called Berry Street Farmers Market.

Off the craft topic, the weather in Toronto is awful today and I cant believe the school buses were not cancelled. Well, that's all for today short and sweet.

Did Ya Miss Me

Hi bloggers, sorry for not posting in quite sometime cause I have been very bizzey but do I have a lot to share with all of you. First off here is Charlotte Ketto for your viewing pleasure. I had not used her in quite awhile so I made a birthday card using this Ketto image.  The coloring was done with my Tombow markers and I have to tell you it will take me sometime to get use to these water based markers or I may not even get use to them at all.  It's funny, when I love something, I love it to the end and I stay dedicated but if I am iffy with an item I may close the door for the time being.  So please let me know what you think of my coloring with the Tombows. I stamped this image on heavy watercolor paper and used Memento ink.

OK, I am very disappointed today cause I missed the huge Cricut Cartridge sale Michaels was having. I spent the whole morning calling every Michaels near me to see if they have anything left.  If you own the Cricut machine these cartridges were a steal for $ 16.00 and I got my hand only on the paisley Cartridge.  Am I crying about this... yes I am cause who knows when they will have a big sale again on these.  Oh well, no point crying over spilled milk, what's done is done.

Happier news for the day, I received my Greeting farm Stamps in the mail .  I had ordered " Special Autumn " and " O/A Just for you" 4 x 6 sets.  I cant wait to create with them.

Much Much happier news, I just got my 120 piece Pablo Caran D'ache pencil crayons and I am in color heaven.  I colored a Mo manning image last night and let me tell you these pencil crayons are the creme a la creme of the pencil crayon world.  They are just beautiful and smooth and creamy and just yummy-licious and I am so glad I got them, but I do have to send out a huge THANKS to Paula and Emily cause if it wasn't for these awesome babearoonies I would not have gotten them so a big Mwah!!!

Much Much Much Much happier news, the love of my life who is my Darling husband just ordered my birthday prezzie and it is going to be my new baby next to my Macbook Pro.  I am getting Mac's new 27 inch table top computer and let me tell you I am in love !!! My brother always say, " if you use Mac, you never go back" and he is right.  I have owned my Macbook Pro Laptop for about 4 or 5 years and I absolutely love it. The reason why I wanted the table to is for my filming and videos, with it he ordered Final Cuts software as well so lets see how that works out for me.

How was that for a Monday post, not bad eh.  Thanks for coming by and be sure to check back again tomorrow cause I have more cards to share. Mwah !!!

100 % Sweet with Bunny

Hello bloggers and welcome to my first card for year 2011.  Did you know according to the chinese calendar it's the year of the rabbit so I have a cute bunny card to share with you.  She was inspired by my dear friend and an awesome bella babe Paula Williamson and if you click here you can see her interpretation of the same image.

As always I use bella's bestest paper to stamp any of my images on and color with of course my prisma pencil crayons.  As you can see here, I went with the purple and pink palette cause at the moment that's what popped into my mind. Lately, I have noticed my coloring going towards more muted and toned down shades.

I also want to let you all know I have created a second blog called Journey to a Happier and Healthier Me.  You may find the read very amusing, fun and knowledgeable at times.  This is where I will have my daily personal experiences related to food, cosmetics, pampering, fun and exciting products pretty much everything that makes me happy and healthy.  I hope you peeps check it out !!!

Well, back to more craft talk.  I hope you haven't forgotten about our Bellarific Friday challenge for January 14 and here is the awesome sketch done by Kimabella. I can't wait to see all your creations with this sketch.  All you have to do is submit your photo to Emily by January 13, 5:00pm Eastern Time and be sure to check out the Bella blog to see what all the babes have come up with.

Ok, that is all I have for today peeps.  I wish all of you a wonderful week and happy crafting.
